Cross Cutter Core Barrel

Cross Cutter Core Barrel is mainly used to break rock cores which remain in the borehole after using a core barrel.

Also suitable for drilling hard, jointed rock and for penetrating through layers containing boulders.

Main diameters: 520 mm, 650 mm, 700 mm, 780 mm, 900 mm, 1060 mm, 1350 mm, etc.

Larger and non-standard diameters are also available.

The standard connection type is a 200 x 200 mm square. Other sizes are available upon request.

They are used to construct bored piles (deep foundations) with a Kelly bar.
