Bottom Feed Vibroflotation

Power Pack PP218 or PP320
Drill Rig/Leader, Free Hanging or Excavator Mounted
Data Logger System
The Bottom Feed Vibroflotation Probe system, suspended from a crawler crane, excavator or leader, has a gravel Feeding Tube connected to the side of the Probe and a gravel hopper located on top. It also has a gravel bucket for filling the gravel hopper, which moves up and down using crane ropes, an excavator, or a leader feeding system.
Positioning the Vibroflotation Probe allows it to penetrate the soil by vibration, injecting water or compressed air to the desired depth.
When the desired depth has been reached, the Vibroflotation Probe is pulled up around 1 m, the upper gate of the Feeding Tube is opened, and the hole created by the Vibroflotation Probe is filled with gravel.
The Vibroflotation Probe vibrates while compacting until the electronic Data Logger indicates that the specified compaction pressure has been reached. The Vibroflotation Probe is raised slightly, and the process repeats. This process is repeated until the vibroflotation has either been extracted completely from the soil or until its head has arrived at the upper side of the formation that is to be compacted.
All operations can be monitored and recorded by an electronic Data Logger.
