The Cobra-200 is Geomil Equipment’s most flexible Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) system. It is suitable to be used in a variety of conditions, both onshore and offshore.
The Cobra-200 is an extremely versatile and self-contained CPT system incorporated in a standard 10 ft container. As such, it is the optimal solution for platform, jack-up, or barge-operated projects or whenever the unit can be firmly mounted onto a stable base.
Due to the containerization, it can be easily transported through normal container cargo. In addition, it can be safely stored while not in use.
The standard container is reinforced to accommodate the 200 kN CPT installation. The container has strong corner castings with easy twist locks at the bottom and at the rooftop.
The Fox-200 push frame with integrated hydraulic catching clamp is positioned inside the container just as, while not in use, the hydraulic power pack. When in use, the power pack is attached to the rear outside of the container, minimizing noise and exhaust fumes.
The base frame can also be used separately from the container, making the system even more flexible.
